You will lead the Forensic Information Databases Service (FINDS). This team operates and administers the national forensic database systems that identify links between forensic evidence recovered from scenes of crime and arrestees (and on occasion other individuals including vulnerable persons and missing persons). 

The role is a senior management role that has accountability for the delivery of all forensic crime scene services across the three force collaboration.

As Senior Crime Scene Investigator you will have responsibility for line and professional management and development of Crime Scenes Investigators and Volume Crime Scene Investigators

This role will assist the Quality Manager to maintain, develop and implement the Quality Management system within Forensic Investigations and the broader Force

This role will manage, maintain, develop and implement the Quality Management system within Forensic Investigations and the broader Force.

You will support the investigation of serious crime and report to a Senior Digital Forensic Investigator, you will be involved in all types of investigation.

In this role, you will provide an efficient reception service for Forensic Services.

You will have line management responsibilities for the specialist areas of Forensic Collision Reconstruction and Forensic Imaging

The successful candidates will join a team of Scene Examiners carrying out crime scene examinations.
