You will assist in the process of gaining ISO accreditation for forensic science activities, supervising and undertaking audits across the South West Region.
The role holder will support the Quality and Performance Supervisor in the implementation of Quality Standards across all forensic services within Thames Valley Police, South East Region Organised Crime Unit (SEROCU), and in particular Counter Terrorism Policing South East (CTPSE).
The successful candidate will require a PTTLS / Level 3 Award in Education and Training or equivalent
This is an exciting role where you will provide full administrative support within the SEROCU Cyber/ Forensic capabilities.
You will provide technical advice and assistance to officers and staff engaged in the investigation of crime and attend crime scenes to provide digital forensic advice where required.
You will be responsible for day to day management of the Digital Forensic Unit managing a team of specialists in the investigation of Digital Forensics
You will provide research support to the Forensic Investigation Unit (FIU), including the preparation and interpretation of management and other statistical information for internal and external use.
