Digital forensic apprentices visit Parliament

Cumbria Constabulary is recruiting a full-time permanent Crime Scene Manager (CSM) and applications are invited from both experienced and trainee CSMs with considerable CSI experience. Should the successful candidate not hold a College of Policing accredited CSM qualification, they must commit to attending an accredited CSM training course and completing the CSM Development Plan within the first two years.
Cumbria Constabulary is recruiting a full-time permanent Crime Scene Investigator Team Leader (TL) to perform the role of CSI Technical Manager and lead on CSI ISO accreditation, CSI Competency and Forensic Training. The postholder will be required to travel to CSI bases in Carlisle and Barrow on a frequent basis and may be required to cover the whole county in connection with the CSI TL duties stated in the role profile.
Support the Digital Forensics Group by maintaining flow of exhibits through the unit and completing early analysis of exhibits to determine the best course of action by using comprehensive triage processes. Reporting the results internally and externally.

This exciting opportunity as Head of Forensic Services will enable you to have the autonomy of the team to not only continue with a high level of service to the organisation but to deliver and design the future operator model.
A scientific analytical role that is required to carry out instructed casework and provide results/findings (generated by instrument or from a limited set of outcomes) internally to Forensic Services staff or externally to the police and other customers.
