Secondment/Fixed Term Contract for 12 months commencing 14th April.
The overall purpose of the role is to maintain efficient administrative support within the Forensic Submissions Team by providing daily supervision and line management to two small teams of Forensic Administrators and to assist the Forensic Marketplace and Submissions Manager in managing the unit’s workload.
As the Director of Forensic Services, you will provide strategic leadership and management of the East Midlands Special Operations Unit – Forensic Services collaboration. Ensuring that the delivery of forensic services can continue to improve in efficiency and effectiveness.
The overall purpose of this role is to maximise the effectiveness of forensic submissions by ensuring that all potential submissions are evaluated in respect to, the viability of the request, the needs of the investigation and its overall cost, both in terms of external expenditure and internal resources.
