Project Title: “When all is Tread and Done” Identifying footwear uppers caught on camera as a new form of evidence. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Digital Portfolio of Forensic Investigation Unit (FIU) as a Forensic Multimedia Technical Supervisor.

Reporting to the Digital Forensic Technical Manager, you will be responsible for implementing ISO 17025/17020 accreditation of the Forensic Audio Visual Unit and the Forensic Multimedia Unit covering activities such as: 

• Retrieval and specialist examination of CCTV
• Conversion, enhancement and compilation of video and audio evidence
• Capture and processing of 3D imagery of crime scenes
• Support of the National training standards framework set out by COP and FSR CCTV Framework
• Accreditation, training and competency of FAVU & FMU staff 
• Implementation of ISO 17025 & FSR Codes of Practice

Reporting to the Digital Forensic Operational Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running of FAVU and the Forensic Multimedia Unit covering activities such as:

• Retrieval and specialist examination of CCTV
• Conversion, enhancement and compilation of video and audio evidence
• Capture of 3D imagery of crime scenes & Scene reconstruction
• Support of the National training standards set out by COP and FSR CCTV Framework
• Training delivery and support of photography skills for Forensic Practitioners (CSI)
• Representing the units at force and national meeting
