What is your main area of expertise?
Digital Forensics is my current role however I have a wide experience across Forensics.
How do you help the FCN’s stakeholders in policing and beyond?
Utilise my knowledge and experience to develop relationships to the benefit of policing.
Which piece of work delivered in the FCN are you proudest of?
The management of the backlogs and support of the market place however the development of the National Contingency Plan was challenging and rewarding.
What is your favourite part of your role?
Building relationships and dealing with Forces to aid investigation and services to victims.
What was your first job in policing or forensics?
Police Officer.
How did you get into a career in forensics?
I became involved in Forensics during my time working on murder investigation teams and then led one of the first cold case teams in the UK and latterly in Scientific Support.
What do you like to do outside of work?
Rugby and fishing.
