You will be accountable for the management and provision of Data Forensics investigations service in Avon and Somerset and Wiltshire Police forces.

The principal responsibility is to manage the Imaging Hub in the delivery of a forensic imaging service in all levels of crime investigation across the South West Forces.

The role requires a dynamic and innovative investigator using cutting edge techniques and technology. 

You will assist in the process of gaining ISO accreditation for forensic science activities, supervising and undertaking audits across the South West Region.

The role holder will support the Quality and Performance Supervisor in the implementation of Quality Standards across all forensic services within Thames Valley Police, South East Region Organised Crime Unit (SEROCU), and in particular Counter Terrorism Policing South East (CTPSE).

The successful candidate will require a PTTLS / Level 3 Award in Education and Training or equivalent

This is an exciting role where you will provide full administrative support within the SEROCU Cyber/ Forensic capabilities.  

You will provide technical advice and assistance to officers and staff engaged in the investigation of crime and attend crime scenes to provide digital forensic advice where required.
